Student Slasher Film are pioneers of midwest-yorkshire emo. Having released what Noizze Magazine called their, 'incredibly strong debut' single in May 2024, with support slots under their belts for acts such as Micheal Cera Palin, Prince Daddy and the Hyena, Origami Angel and more, and playing multiple sold out headline shows in their hometown, the group have been prolific in the local music scene of Yorkshire.
With catchy but complex and heavy-hitting riffs, driving rhythms, and larynx-ripping vocals, the band have carved out a sound all of their own, straddling the lines between emo, post-hardcore, indie rock and punk.
