FIONA-LEE
From basement bedrooms to breakthrough moments, Yorkshire’s latest alt-pop truth-teller is ready to rewrite the rulebook on coming-of-age anthems.
As she navigates her self-described “quarter-life crisis” and continues crafting songs that speak to universal experiences of growth, loss, and self-discovery, she’s creating more than just music – she’s documenting the complex emotional landscape of young adulthood with the kind of authenticity that can’t be faked and the sort of grace that can’t be taught.
For Yorkshire’s Fiona-Lee, the final year of her teens was about as formative as they come. Fraught with grief, uncertainty and frustration, it was a year that forced her to grow up fast, to navigate the kind of hardships that could easily make a person lose hope. Now 24, she has rounded those experiences into an EP of stoic feminine power, a hand held out to the listener to remind them that life can and must go on.
The East Yorkshire newcomer has spent the past year quietly assembling one of 2025’s most anticipated debut EPs ("Nothing Compares to Nineteen" released on March 7th, 2025), transforming teenage tribulations into guitar-driven gold.
