Beth Pilling (she/her) is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter based in Bridlington. Beth writes about her battles with sexism and misogyny as well as heartbreak and betrayal. Beth pours her music into the independent scenes of the East and North of Yorkshire through high energy yet vulnerable solo sets and band performances.
For the last year, Beth has been building her band "Beth Pilling And The Bootleggers", the sensational lineup consisting of Aaron Green (keys), George Garnett (lead guitar + backing vocals), Tom Scanlon (Bass), and Elliot Joesbury (drums). This Hull based collective combine essences of Jazz, Folk, Indie Rock, and Grunge to name a few and lay a solid foundation to allow Beth's songs to flourish.
In their first year, Beth's band were greeted by the scene with opportunities such as Headlining The Sesh at Polar Bear, supporting fellow Hull indie band The Avenues, Headlining Trinity Live, and working with nationwide promoters, This Feeling. After an amazing first year, Beth's band can't wait to announce more exhilarating shows for Summer 2024.
